Poppets, Doll Babies, Human Effigies:

     Human effigies are dolls created and consecrated to represent someone with a magical purpose in mind. European traditions refer to these as poppets, African American hoodoo traditions refer to them as doll babies. These dolls are used as a very powerful spell casting tool.

     We have created a simple collection of magic dolls made of different colors to represent the intent of the spell. Our dolls are stuffed with traditional roots and herbs that will correspond to your to your magical desires and needs. A small area in the top of the doll's head is left open so that personal items, like a snip of hair, or a prayer, or name paper can be slipped inside. To close the doll up, simply pull the thread taut and tie a knot.

     It is suggested that you make your magic doll as personal as possible. As you concentrate on the person the doll represents place your personal items inside, draw representative details on the cloth, do anything that will further personalize your work. Each custom made poppet sells for $18.00.

Red:  This red doll poppet represents love, sex, romantic interests, and friendship. It is filled with traditional love drawing roots, herbs, and minerals such as Angelica root, Bay, Catnip, Damiana, Myrtle, Rose petals, Lavender, Passion flowers, Verbena, and Lodestone grit.
